The Grand Master

     Most Worshipful Brother William has lived in the Grand Valley on the Western Slope of Colorado for all of his life.  He is currently one of seven generations that has lived or is living in Western Colorado.  He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Colorado State University in 1989 after serving in the United States Navy.

     He was raised a Master Mason in Mesa Lodge #55 in Grand Junction in February of 1987.  He served as Worshipful Master of Mesa Lodge #55 in 1994 and 2002 as well as Palisade Lodge #125 in 2006.  He also served numerous years as Worshipful Master of Memorial Lodge #3.  He was appointed as District Lecturer of District #41 in 2006 and served until 2017 when he was appointed to the Grand Lodge of Colorado to serve as Grand Marshal in 2018 by Most Worshipful Brother Phil Moss.

     Right Worshipful Brother William served as President of the Western Colorado Shrine Club in 2009 as well as Commander of the Western Colorado Shrine Club Honor Guard for 4 years.  He has also been the head of all 4 Scottish Rite bodies and currently sits on the Executive Committee for the Valley of Grand Junction.  He is currently an officer in both the Grand Junction and the Delta York Rite Bodies.

     Right Worshipful Bother William has been married to Brenda since 1984 and has one daughter, Aimee, and one son, David who served as Worshipful Master of Mesa Lodge #55 in 2021.  They have 6 grandchildren and 3 great grand children.
